What are QR Codes?
QR Codes are barcode-like images that can link to various digital destinations. QR codes or Quick Response codes can be used to link any website, video, or document. To create a QR code you will need a Generator App or website, and anyone who wants to scan the QR code would need to download a reader.
What are they good for?

- Links to a video or document in "stations"
- Posted around the classroom for directions or explanations
- Library or book organization
- Helpful hints on class work or homework
- Quick reference cards to favorite websites or programs for students

On a desktop or laptop computer download a generator. Below are 2 options.

-Choose "embedded" to post the code on a website.
- Choose the type of information (URL, Document, Email, etc...) you are wanting to link.
- Enter the content you are wanting to include.
